Luck or Harbaugh-Your Thoughts

My question of the Day on Twitter was; If your team stinks and you need both a QB and a coach, and could only have one of them, would you want Andrew Luck or Jim Harbaugh.

Here are some of your responses:

 Tom Cammalleri

@ Rather have Luck. (and are they ever gonna need it...)

@
@ Andrew Luck coaches come and go but if you get a franchise QB, you're for 10 years

 Jan
@
@ college coaches and their track record compared to "the greatest qb talent since elway" + longevity: coach maybe 3 yrs - qb 10
 Matt Zucker
@
@ all starts with the coach, no player is a sure thing
 chad smithers
@
@ Luck. Look at Peyton, he has made Dungy + Caldwell look smart. M Ryan and Freeman done same for Smith and Morris

 Rajiv Varma
@
@ Harbaugh. Coaches harder to find than quality quarterbacks.
 Daniel Stave
@ luck. Harbaugh is good coach prospect. Luck is said to be great Qb prospect
 David Broner
@
@ luck. You can get a coach next year. Probably can't get qb nearly as good next year.
 Chris J.
@
@ Take the QB. Montana, Elway, Marino, Favre, Manning all had more than one head coach.
 Clem
@
@ I'll take the QB. Luck
 Thomas McGovern
@
@ A Good QB makes a bad Coach look good...and Bad QB makes a good coach look bad. Take the QB Andrew Luck.
 Connor Carrigan
@
@ harbough. Seems like Stanford draws personality, chippiness from him, not Luck. Bad teams need new mentalities.
 Josh W
@
@ college team= Harbaugh, pro team= Luck
 loakman
@
@ Harbaugh. He can coach up the QB
 Steven Rosales
@
@ I'd take Luck.. because a true franchise qb changes team for decade
 George Duryea
@
@ harbaugh for my 49ers.
 Shae Cronin
@
@ Andrew Luck, without question or hesitation.
 Lincoln Mohler
@
@ Gotta go with QB. It is much easier to replace a coach, then a franchise QB. A franchise QB will make any coach look competant.
 Gabe Ibrahim
@
@ Luck. A team can win w/o a coach(09 Vikings) or a average one(10 chiefs). But no team can win w/o QB who isn't good/great
 kevin grant
@
@ my team does stink and I would rather have Luck
 Connor Huchton
@
@ In the NFL, Andrew Luck. In college, Harbaugh. One of Harbaugh's greatest strengths (if not greatest) is recruiting.
 Rocco Russo
@
@ HC... a great QB can sometimes over come a bad QB but its rare and hard to sustain.. see Vikings for example A
 Kevin Alten
@
@ a GREAT QB can mask ALOT of coaching deficencies
 Joel Hebensperger
@
@ Luck w/o a second of thought...
 Kevin Bell
@
@ Harbaugh. Good coach, trust the lineage (John H.), and DEN has at least the semblance of a passing game (orton or Tebow).
 Graham Burns
@
@ Harbaugh, if team stinks need to change culture and bring in more talent than just QB.
 Berserk Hippo
@
@ Great coach can make a great QB more than a great QB can make a great coach.
 Cody Getz
@
@ Luck, a promising young quarterback will draw coaching talent.
 John Keller
@
@ Look at last year's Cards vs. this year's team. It's a QB league, first and foremost. Coaches are overrated.
 Steven Davis
@ like Sparky Anderson once said, u know what makes a good coach? Good players.
 nbfunt
@
@ Peyton or Dungy? Peyton. Elway or Shanny? Elway. Favre or Holmgren? Favre.QB's always win w/o coaches, coaches always need qb.
 Adam M. Mirchin
@
@ Luck. Not even close to close. You can always buy a good coach. Franchise QB's come around twice a decade.
 Andrei Markevich
@
@ Luck. I don't trust college coaches coming to the NFL. And I'm a 49ers fan. We need a QB who is even halfway competent.
 rianp
@
@ Luck. We've had three coaches, but only one Manning since 98, seems to be a no brainer in this league.
 Jody Canaday
@
@ Supply and demand dictates you take Luck. QB has biggest impact on your team AND make coach look like a genius (Shanahan nodding)
 Nick Roberts
@
@ I'd rather have Luck no doubt.. If he's the next Elway that would outweight Harbaugh being the next Harbaugh.
 John McGuinness
@
@ Luck easily. Record of college coaches in NFL is not good. Can always go get a coach.
 Men of Mill
@
@ As a 49ers I would take Harbaugh... I think there needs to be a culture change and we've seen top 10 qbs not pan out.
 jon schroeder
@
@ As a Niners fan I'll take the coach.
 Daniel Leonard
@
@ my team, buffalo does stink. badly. but i really think fitz is capable. not too sure about gailey. so i'd have to take the coach
 Adam Liebman
@
@ good coach can help bad qb get better, good qb can't do anything if coach not good enough to run team well.
 tre mosley
@
@ sounds like the
 Brenden Welsh
@
@ Luck, top QB prospect, many college coaches fail in the NFL.
